A Pink Friend for the François Baclesse Center
Mary Automobiles continues its commitment to solidarity
major partner of the D-Day Landings Marathon
This year again, we are proud to count Mary Automobiles among our major partners. In 2025, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the François Baclesse Cancer Center , this commitment takes on a very special dimension: the Petite AMI Rose de la Rochambelle , adorned with thousands of messages of hope, will be offered to the healthcare establishment at the end of the event.
A car that symbolizes commitment and transmission
Launched in 2023, the Citroën brand's Petite AMI Rose has become a true symbol of solidarity. Each year, it collects messages from participants in the women's solidarity event. D-Day Landings Marathon , true declarations of support, love and fight against the disease. These words, written on the bodywork, pay tribute to a loved one, a fight or a victory: "And you, who are you running for?"
In 2025, these messages will not fade away. They will continue to live on, day after day, on the roads of Caen and beyond. The vehicle will retain its pink livery and its powerful words to serve the Center's teams.
"What is written on the car will be able to last beyond La Rochambelle . Everyone will be able to continue to see the messages live on the car," says Hermeline Delepouve, Director of Communications and Fundraising at the François Baclesse Centre .
On June 3rd at 12:00 p.m., the Petite AMI Rose will be officially presented to all of the Center's employees. On this occasion, Mr. Rouzier, General Manager, and Michael Canovas, Deputy General Manager, will deliver a message on behalf of all of the Center's teams. This presentation will take place in the presence of Nicolas Hassane, event director, as well as José Trenti, for Mary Automobiles. The meeting will conclude with a group photo.
A Rochambelle 2025 already complete and more united than ever
10,000 participants registered in just one month: la Rochambelle promises to be exceptional once again, Saturday June 14, 2025. The 20th solidarity edition of the event will raise nearly €90,000 for the fight against women's cancers, donated to several local organizations, including the François Baclesse Center , the Caen Normandy University Hospital , the Calvados Cancer League and the Polyclinique du Parc.
Each bib contributes to concrete action, and the Petite AMI Rose is its visible, human and mobile extension.
Where can I see and sign the Petite AMI Rose 2025?
– Before the race: at our partners , with a fun device of messages to write on the bodywork of the little AMI;
– During the race: at the event’s Expo Village, before the start and at the finish, with free access;
– After the race: in CITROËN Mary Automobiles dealerships until September.
An official award ceremony at the start of the school year
An official presentation ceremony will take place at the start of the 2025 school year to mark this symbolic and useful donation.
In this regard, Victor Mary, Marketing Director of the Mary Automobiles group, declares: "We are proud to present the Petite AMI Rose to the François Baclesse Center for the first time. This ceremony will be an important moment that concretizes our commitment to the fight against women's cancer. This action is part of our desire to support La Rochambelle and to contribute, on our scale, to this wonderful solidarity mobilization."
A vehicle to support healthcare professionals
The car will be used daily by the teams at the François Baclesse Center , to ensure their professional and medical travel between the different care and analysis centers. It thus becomes a field tool, carrying meaning and collective memory.
