Why become a volunteer?
a unique behind-the-scenes experience
Organized by Courants de la Liberté, an association under the law of 1901, the D-Day Landings Marathon relies mainly on a solid core of volunteers who work year-round alongside 4 salaried employees to prepare each edition.
The event could not exist without the involvement of these volunteers, who not only contribute to the development of sporting activities, but also to the influence of the Normandy region. On D-day, more than 1,600 volunteers contribute to the success of the event. Their assignments are varied, but their role is crucial in welcoming and supervising participants.
