La Rochambellethe women's and solidarity event on D-Day Landings Marathon, to be held on Saturday June 14, 2025 as part of Caen's millennium celebrations, is also SOLD OUT just a few weeks after registration opened.

Created in 1988 as a sporting tribute to the events of the D-Day, D-Day Landings Marathon is preparing for another historic edition as part of the festivities for the Caen's millennium celebrations. With over 30,000 participants each year, the event's race courses are a perfect illustration of this tribute to history through sport, making D-Day Landings Marathon a formidable showcase for Normandy.
La RochambelleCaen's emblematic women's event, to be held on Saturday June 14, is also sold out. In view of the popularity of the event and the rescheduling of tramway works in the city center, the organizers had increased the capacity of the event from 7,500 to 10,000 participants. For its 20th edition, la Rochambelle will raise a minimum of €70,000 for the fight against women's cancers. Local projects will be announced shortly.
The D-Day Landings Marathon is now the only distance that can welcome new participants up to a limit of 5,000.
38th edition of the D-Day Landings Marathon
This year's program features a unique range of events, allowing everyone to participate according to their level of ability and desire:
- The D-Day Landings Marathon, the most historic race in the world;
- Le Relay Marathon, l'union fait la force (COMPLETE) ;
- The Pegasus Half Marathon, the legendary distance that starts from the famous Pegasus Bridge (SOLD OUT) ;
- The 10km - Crédit Agricole Normandie, the short distance during which the city belongs to you (SOLD OUT) ;
- La Rochambelle, run-walk in aid of the fight against cancer (SOLD OUT) ;
- Foulées de la Liberté, 4,000 children from schools in Caen (SOLD OUT).
