unity is strength

Take up the challenge of the Marathon by a team of 4 and take part in a convivial and major event for the Normandy region. The first relay runners will set off from Courseulles-sur-Mer, the starting point of the Marathon.

During this event, the personal challenge is coupled with the discovery of high places of the D-Day Landings and the Battle of Normandy for the runners (Juno and Sword beaches, Ouistreham Casino, Pegasus Bridge, etc.), making this intense moment of sport a real tribute to History.

The event is gearing up for a historic 2024 edition as part of the festivities marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.

On the course

Refreshment zones (25cl water bottles + self-supply, bananas, oranges, sugar cubes and dried fruit) will be set up every 5 km.

New for 2024: the organization is modifying its water management system for the event. In order to move towards a more reasoned management and a reduction of plastic, a double water supply system will be tested this year for the first time. You'll be able to refuel using water bottles, or fill your own containers (hydration bags, flasks, etc.) at the various refreshment points. The aim is to encourage and measure runners' autonomy, so as to develop and generalize self-supply systems in the future.

On arrival
