The fee is €120 per relay team.

Each participant is unique. Register before 7th May 2026 receive a bib on race day (first name/nickname, team name).

The organization is reviewing its bibs exchange system bibs facilitates the purchase and resale of bibs runners via the registration platform.

Registration for Relay Marathon to register four relay runners. As a result, you can offer all bibs for sale on the bib echange. Refunds will only be issued if the bibs are resold to another team, after deduction of a €2 administration fee. See the official rules for details on how to get a refund for your options. Transfer requests must be made by the first relay runner.

I'm looking for a bib

Until the event approaches, bibs are accessible to the general public. bibs are only posted bibs the official exchange when other runners initiate resale offers. If there are no offers, no bib available.

The resale of bibs the official circuit is prohibited and considered fraudulent.

Time limits

The Relay Marathon limited to 5 hours and 30 minutes with time limits imposed at:

- 10th km in less than 1h20 ;

- 15th km in less than 2h00 ;

- 20th km in less than 2h40 ;

- 25th km in under 3h18 ;

- 30th km in less than 3h56 ;

- 35th km in under 4h35.

Proof of fitness : 18 and over

In France, the Fédération Française d'Athlétisme (FFA) regulates the conditions for participation in running events. In accordance with the regulations for running events any participation in a competition is subject to the presentation of proof of fitness.

Not a licensed runner? You must deposit your Pass Prévention Santé (PPS), issued by the FFA, which is mandatory for participating in running competitions in France and valid for one year.

Not a licensed runner? Minors are not required to have a Pass Prévention Santé. Before each race, they must complete a free health questionnaire, with the help of a parent. At the end of the questionnaire, a certificate valid for one race only is issued.

If your relay group is taking part as part of a team, please contact your team manager directly to find out how your team can withdraw.

If you are registered as an individual, the following information applies to you.

Bibs collected upon presentation of ID at Marathon Expo (Parc des Expositions de Caen, rue Joseph Philippon):

SATURDAY 6TH JUNE FROM 10:00 AM TO 7:00 PM

BIB COLLECTION = COMPLETE FILE (PPS OR FFA LICENSE) + ID + BIB NUMBER

Don't forget to bring your bib number with you to reduce the waiting time when you collect your bib. Find your bib number in your online account by clicking here.

For any bib collected by a third party, the latter must present the ID of the person for whom the bib is being collected.

No pins will be given out, so please bring your own.

Free shuttles

A free shuttle service is available in partnership with Keolis to take you the 1st relay only to the starting site of the event.

Rotation period: from 6:00 am to 7:30 am.

Roadbook and routes

To reach the various relay zones independently, a roadbook with the recommended routes will be provided when collecting your bib. Use the designated parking areas to access the various relay zones.

start corral

The start of Relay Marathon place at the same time as the start of the D-Day Landings Marathon.

The first relay runner must position themselves in the dedicated Relay Marathon start corral (the last corral). Any failure to comply with this rule may result in the team’s disqualification.

Changing rooms and showers

A cloakroom truck will be present at the start site in Courseulles-sur-Mer to collect the belongings of the first runner and bring them back to the finish site.

Refreshments stations

On the course

Refreshment stations will be located every 5 km (25 cl water bottles + self-service, bananas, oranges, sugar cubes, dried apricots, and saltine crackers starting at the 21st km, provided by U stores in Calvados).

You'll be able to refuel with water bottles or fill your own containers (hydration pack, flask, etc.) at the refreshment point.
The aim is to encourage runners' autonomy and to continue developing self-supply devices.

On arrival

You will also be offered a full refueling service upon arrival by the U stores in Calvados, as well as a buffet Saveurs de Normandie buffet where you can sample local specialties.

It will be possible to follow the riders thanks to Breizh Chronothe event's official timekeeper.

Reminder: for reasons of safety and fairness, the presence of accompanying persons on bicycles or using any other means of transport is strictly forbidden. Any rider failing to comply with this rule will be disqualified.

Finish Area

Cross the finish line in the heart of downtown Caen. Your friends and family will be able to follow and support you from dedicated fan zones.

The ranking will be established according to the following categories:

Awards

An option included in the registration fee | Finisher T-shirt 

Bonus: if a group of relay runners chooses not to receive a reward, their gesture will be rewarded by a donation to the fight against cancer, by supporting the partner organizations of la Rochambelle, the women's and solidarity event.

Each participant will also receive a souvenir made in Normandy.

Race Award ceremony

The awards ceremony will take place near the finish line at the Hélitas Stadium in Caen on Sunday 7th June 1:45 p.m. (tentative schedule).

The top three teams in each category (mixed, men, women) will be called up to the awards podium.
