Last night, we were prouder than ever of

Last night, we were prouder than ever to be Caennais! 🤩🫶🏻 To mark the inauguration of the @millenairecaen2025, the people of Caen were treated to an exceptional show highlighting the city's rich heritage. After two years of renovation work, the castle was set ablaze and reopened in a festive and moving atmosphere. An artistic fresco by the artist @b959 and a fire show "Incandescences" by the company @compagnie_la_machine transformed this must-see monument into a living stage. 🎉🔥You can still enjoy the show tonight and tomorrow night. In the middle of the race, an official tried to eject her violently. She resisted, then finished. She led the way. ♀📊 Today, more and more of you are daring. The progression shows that women's running continues to evolve on D-Day Landings Marathon events: - Marathon: 14% women in 2020 ➡ 22% in 2025 (+8 pts)- Relay: 42% in 2020 ➡ 50% in 2025 (+8 pts)- Half-Marathon: 28% in 2020 ➡ 41% in 2025 (+13 pts)- 10km: 47% in 2020 ➡ 56% in 2025 (+9 pts)✅ Overall: 33% female participants in 2020 ➡ 41% in 2025 (+8pts)Running has never been about gender but about confidence and surpassing yourself. 💪 We're proud to see these figures progress and to see ever more women crossing the finish line.🏁 See you on Sunday June 15 at the starting line!
