Organised by Les Courants de la Liberté, an association under the law of 1901, D-Day Landings Marathon relies mainly on a solid core of volunteers who work all year round alongside 3 salaried employees to prepare each edition.
The event could not exist without the involvement of these volunteers who contribute to the development of the practice of sports but also to the influence of the Norman territory. On D-Day, more than 1,600 volunteers contribute to the success of the event. Their assignments are diverse but their role is crucial in welcoming and ensuring the safety of participants.
