FINISHERS' AWARDS: WHAT'S NEW IN 2025

The 38th edition of D-Day Landings Marathon will take place from June 12 to 15, 2025 in Caen, Normandy, at the heart of the city's Millennium celebrations. Caen's millennium celebrations. As registration opens, it's time to take a look at a major new feature of the next edition.

the completely redesigned finishers' rewards system

Created in 1988 with the aim of paying tribute to the D-Day through sport, the event is now one of France's top 5 running events, attracting an ever-increasing number of enthusiasts with a historical DNA rooted in two universal notions: peace and freedom. The event's race courses are a perfect illustration of this tribute to history through sport, making D-Day Landings Marathon a wonderful showcase for Normandy.

In 2025, D-Day Landings Marathon is revamping its system of finishers' prizes. The aim is to offer each participant the possibility of choosing what suits them best, and thus become an active participant in the event. More concretely, when registering, each participant will be able to select his or her finisher reward, or choose to replace it with a donation to the fight against cancer. A nod to our feminine and supportive event, la Rochambelle.

Several options are available on registration:

 

D-Day Landings Marathon

Two options included in registration | Collector's medal and finisher's T-shirt

As in previous editions, a collector's medal and finisher's T-shirt are offered as rewards to participants in the event.

Bonus: if a participant chooses not to receive rewards, his or her gesture will be rewarded by a donation to the fight against cancer by supporting the partner organizations of la Rochambelle, the event's women's and solidarity event.

 

Relay Marathon

An option included in the registration fee | Finisher T-shirt 

The Relay Marathon reward system remains unchanged, with a free finisher's T-shirt for every participant.

Bonus: if a group of relay runners chooses not to receive a reward, their gesture will be rewarded by a donation to the fight against cancer, by supporting the partner organizations of la Rochambelle, the women's and solidarity event.

 

Pegasus Half Marathon and 10km - Crédit Agricole Normandie

Collector's medal or finisher's T-shirt

In the past, a finisher's T-shirt was given to participants in both events. From now on, participants will be able to choose whether they prefer a collector's medal or a finisher's T-shirt as a reward.
