proof of ability

In France, proof of fitness is required to take part in running events.

Please send us your proof of suitability via your online account before Wednesday 29th may 2024 by clicking here.

I'm over 18.

Participation in the event is subject to presentation of one of the 3 following documents:

- NEW: Health Prevention Pathway (simplified scheme)

You can now opt for the Parcours Préventation Santé (PPS), a system designed to simplify the process of registering for a running event, as your proof of fitness. The aim of the PPS is to raise awareness of the risks, precautions and recommendations associated with running, while at the same time making runners aware of their responsibilities. To edit your PPS, log on to pps.athle.fr in the three months preceding your event, i.e. from March 2, 2024, and follow the various steps until you receive your certificate;

- Medical certificate

This medical certificate issued by your doctor must certify the absence of any contraindication to the practice of competitive sport, competitive athletics or competitive running, and must be less than one year old on the day of the event. Click here to download our model medical certificate ;

- French Athletics Federation (FFA) license

Since January 16, 2024, only Athlé Compétition, Athlé Entreprise, Athlé Running or Pass "J'aime Courir" licenses issued by the Fédération Française d'Athlétisme are accepted.

I'm a minor.

Participation in the event is subject to presentation of one of the 3 following documents:

- Health certificate (simplified system)

The minor and his/her legal guardian must jointly complete the Minor Athlete's Health Questionnaire. The legal guardian then certifies to the federation that each of the sections of the questionnaire gives rise to a negative answer by completing the health certificate of the minor athlete. The underage athlete's questionnaire must be kept by the legal guardian. The health certificate is equivalent to the proof of fitness to be sent to the organiser;

- Medical certificate

This medical certificate issued by your doctor must certify the absence of any contraindication to the practice of competitive sport, competitive athletics or competitive running, and must be less than six years old on the day of the event. Click here to download our model medical certificate;

- French Athletics Federation (FFA) license

Since January 16, 2024, only Athlé Compétition, Athlé Entreprise, Athlé Running or Pass "J'aime Courir" licenses issued by the Fédération Française d'Athlétisme are accepted.
