The D-Day Landings Marathon , whose 37th edition will take place from May 31 to June 2, 2024 in Caen, Normandy, is now open for entries.
Created in 1988 to pay tribute through sport to the events of D-Day, D-Day Landings Marathon is gearing up for a historic 2024 edition as part of the festivities for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.
With more than 25,000 participants each year, the event's course is a perfect illustration of this tribute to history through sport, making D-Day Landings Marathon a wonderful showcase for Normandy. On the program for this sporting and popular weekend in tribute to the events of D-Day: a unique range of events enabling everyone to participate according to their level of ability and desire.

- The Pegasus, a half-marathon starting from the famous Pegasus Bridge;

Many of you dream of the legendary 42.195km distance. What if this edition was the right one to take up the challenge? On Sunday June 2, 2024, D-Day Landings Marathon is set to celebrate a historic edition.
For the occasion, Caen Athletic Club and the organization are joining forces to help you successfully complete your first marathon. A single objective: to become a finisher. With advice, an individual training plan and face-to-face group sessions, D-Day Landings Marathon will help you achieve your goal.
