In France, proof of fitness is required to take part in running events.
Please send us your proof of suitability via your online account before Wednesday, June 3, 2026 by clicking here.
Participation in the event is subject to presentation of one of the 2 following documents:
- Preventive Health Care
Not a licensed rider? You need to fill in and submit your Parcours Prévention Santé (PPS)a system set up by the Fédération Française d'Athlétisme (French Athletics Federation) for taking part in a running event. The PPS is designed to raise awareness of the risks, precautions and recommendations associated with running, while making runners aware of their responsibilities. To edit your PPS, log on to pps.athle.fr in the three months prior to your event, i.e. from March 7, 2026, and follow the various steps until you receive your certificate;
- French Athletics Federation (FFA) license
Since January 16, 2024, only Athlé Compétition, Athlé Entreprise or Athlé Running licenses issued by the Fédération Française d'Athlétisme are accepted.
Participation in the event is subject to presentation of one of the 2 following documents:
- Health certificate
The minor and his or her legal guardian must jointly fill in the minor's health questionnaire. The legal guardian then certifies to the federation that each section of the questionnaire has been answered in the negative, by completing the health certificate for the minor athlete. The minor's questionnaire must be kept by the legal guardian. The health certificate is equivalent to the proof of fitness to be sent to the organizer. If the health certificate cannot be produced, the minor must provide a medical certificate attesting to the absence of any contraindication to the practice of athletics, running or competitive sport, dated less than six months before the day of the event.
- French Athletics Federation (FFA) license
Since January 16, 2024, only Athlé Compétition, Athlé Entreprise or Athlé Running licenses issued by the Fédération Française d'Athlétisme are accepted.
