Just a few weeks after la Rochambelle and the Pegasus Half Marathon, two new events have now reached their maximum capacity.
The 10km - Crédit Agricole Normandie is a 100% urban route that allows as many people as possible to take part, bringing together beginners and experienced runners on the same event. The personal challenge rhymes with discovering the city's historic heritage and must-see places in a festive atmosphere. The race, which has been awarded the FFA regional label, will welcome 5,000 participants on Sunday June 2, starting from Avenue Albert Sorel. Relay Marathon , a convivial event par excellence, will welcome a record 250 teams of 4 relay runners. The first runners will set off from Courseulles-sur-Mer, the starting point for the Marathon, on a route that combines a sporting challenge with the discovery of the key sites of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy: Juno and Sword beaches, Ouistreham Casino, Pegasus Bridge, etc.
With 5 out of 6 events sold out, the Marathon is now the only event still able to welcome new runners, up to a limit of 5,000 participants.
For runners not lucky enough to register, a bibs exchange has been set up on the event's official website, making it easier for runners to buy and resell bibs .
