Founded in 2002 as a tribute to the female paramedics of General Leclerc’s Second Armored Division, La Rochambelle established La Rochambelle since 2006 as a flagship event in the fight against cancer, thereby weaving a spirit of solidarity into its historical legacy—a spirit that has now become its hallmark.
A signature event of D-Day Landings Marathon, the race stands out for its values and commitment, with between €7 and €10 raised for each registration to benefit local projects. La Rochambelle raised over €1.6 million for the fight against cancer, establishing itself as one of the leading women’s races in France.
