🏃‍♂️ A hundred runners took part this morning in the collective outing in preparation for the 37th edition of D-Day Landings Marathon.🐝 On the program, a long outing, exchanges with pacers and nutritional advice dispensed by our favorite beekeepers @apirun1.🤩 Thanks to the participants for sharing this moment of conviviality with us and to pacers for supervising the session.🚀 Time for the last outings before the big day.

Testimonial I Words of heroes💬 As part of this historic edition, we invite you to meet our future heroes.🇬🇧 Today, Mark Bennett (UK), tells us about his vision of D-Day Landings Marathon : "To me, running represents the ultimate freedom and escape. Running makes me realize how lucky I am to be healthy and active. I've already taken part in three editions of D-Day Landings Marathon. Having taken part in over a hundred marathons, I consider this event to be one of the best in terms of public support and organization. I like the fact that the course runs along part of the D-Day beaches. It really brings home the sacrifice of these soldiers. What's more, the minute's silence before the start helps to bring home the very essence of the marathon. The course itself is fantastic, with beautiful views and a gentle gradient. I particularly like the stretch from Ouistreham along the canal to Pegasus Bridge. The encouragement from the public is incredible. To hear so many French people I don't know shouting "Allez Mark" is always impressive. Being able to enjoy live bands at different points along the route is a real plus. Finally, the arrival at the stadium on the athletics track is a beautiful symbol. You can savor it or sprint on the tartan for the last few hundred meters."💙 See you Sunday June 2 Mark!
